Here is the photo of the completed tumbler quilt that I forgot to post last week.  It now hangs with its pieced backing in my to-be-quilted closet.  I began this project in October 2022 and it is entirely hand-pieced using the English Paper Piecing method.  Each tumbler finishes at 1 ¾ inches high.  The base measures 1 ¾ inches and the top is 7/8 inch.  Someday I’ll pull it off the hanger and figure out how many tumblers are in it,

A few more 16-patches made it to the design wall.

I’ve begun putting together the patio garden we can see from our breakfast nook.  The begonia was my big splurge this spring.  The ice plant, baby begonias and coleus were wintered over indoors.

And finally, I hope all my Christian friends had a blessed Easter.  This tatted cross was made by one of my aunts.

You have such a nice balance of light and dark reds in your quilt. I cannot imagine that much hand stitching. It's a beauty!

Another 4 weeks and we can put our plants outside.

I haven't had a begonia in years I should look for one to add more color to my plants on the porch right now. I love your quilts the tumblers turned out great.

Love your tumbler quilt, and the 16-patch is looking quite pretty. I love begonias but haven't had one in years. The other day I remembered some I had in our first house. There was a bricked planter at the entrance to the house, and I planted it with begonias and impatiens. It was the star of the neighborhood. People even commented on it where I worked. It was the perfect spot I guess - east facing - and it got the right amount of shade to thrive. I've not been able to duplicate that bed since!
