Tuesdays Mean Sewing with Friends and Jane Stickle Blocks

Tuesday’s Jane Stickle triangle block was LS-1, Nancee’s Fantasy.  It required paper piecing and applique and went together surprisingly quickly.

Our icy weather morphed into a gorgeous sunny afternoon in the 50s, quite a change from the sleet and icy conditions of the morning.

I haven't gotten to this block. It looks difficult but beautiful. You must be getting close to finishing your Jane.

I'm glad your ice melts quickly, we are back to snow again this morning.
It's amazing how many pieces are in those blocks. This is a nice one.

Hi Mary,

Thanks for your kind words about my blocks. I'm really enjoying making them.

You have done a terrific job on Nancee's Fantasy. I have to do that one soon and it is rather intimidating. I'm starting out with the entire first row, blocks first, then the two triangles. I'm on A-10 now and it is a puzzler. I looked at the instructions for piecing it and thought to myself, "Applique!"

Take care,
