Bob was as good as his word and freed up the cutting table
yesterday. I spent some time trimming
the split nine-patch quilt that I had finished quilting and piecing a backing.
Today I’ve begun the process of creating a sandwich using the
Carol Doak design from last year’s quilt cruise.
We were surprised by two isolated showers today, giving us just over a 1/10th inch of rain. The forecast had predicted a 0% probability. I am so glad it was wrong.

That is a lovely quilt, Mary! I'm glad you have your cutting table back for at least a while...
Also I'm glad to hear you got a little rain... it's been a dry summer.
Your quilt projects are so wonderful!! Nice that you are making so much progress!! I'm glad the forecast was wrong! Hope you get some more and we do too!!
Blessings and hugs!
Wow! Jut wow! That quilt from your cruise is absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!
We could use some rain ... but NOT tomorrow like forecast. My oldest grandson swims tomorrow at the final summer swim competition (only the top 6 swimmers make the cut).
Love all the curves. Pretty!
