Hubby and I went to a nearby farmer’s market this morning,
but we were disappointed in the sparseness of the vendors. At least half of them were craft related and relatively
few had fresh produce…bummer. At least
the outing was fun. After that we made
two quick stops and were home by lunchtime.
This is ROT (Republic of Texas) Rally weekend during which thousands of
motorcycle enthusiasts congregate in Austin.
Many of them enjoy group excursions to the Hill Country; so, we
wanted to return home before the highway traffic built up.
I stayed in the cool house and enjoyed the girl chatter during
Bonnie Hunter’s Quilt-Cam this afternoon.
These are the Texas Tumbleweed blocks I worked on.

Our local farmers' market is the same way ... mostly crafts with only a few produce vendors. :-( Good thinking to get home before all the traffic got too heavy.
The blocks are looking good! I love to hear about all the gals quilting all over the world during quilt cam....that just amazes me. Our local produce has been a little sparse too this year. Hoping it will improve in the next few weeks.
We are lucky to have farmer's markets that are amazing every day of the week. Some do have crafts but not all. My sister brought over the biggest, reddest strawberries I've ever seen!
Your blocks are very pretty.
