Back to Quilting

This project has lain dormant for months.  I decided this week to reconfigure the studio for quilting on my Janome and get back to work on it.  I have an HQ sit-down quilter, but prefer to use the walking foot on my Janome for stitching in the ditch.  Hopefully I will finish that stage in the next few days and transition to the other machine.  I’m forcing myself to take frequent breaks while working on this project so as not to put too much stress on my neck and shoulders.  Since it has been so blustery today, I've even used the elliptical, which you can see in the background, rather than taking long walks outside.  My fitness tracker says I'm at 9,999 steps so far today.  So, I think there is a good chance I will make 10,000.

I use my Juki TL2010Q for my vintage/doily, etc quilting and my Sweet 16 for most all else. The control I feel I have with the smaller machine definitely fills certain needs in FMQ!!!! You do beautiful stitching!!!!!!
