Late to the Party

I continued working on hexagons during Bonnie’s Quilt-Cam yesterday.  Since I last posted about them, I have completed the row of neutrals around part of the center so that it’s ready for the next two diamonds to be added, finished one rosette and started another.  I also picked up a couple of fat eighths bundles Saturday so I could pair up fabrics for some more rosettes.

It's been two days since the 16 pound scrap bag was opened, and I’ve diligently been working at sorting and dealing with color groups.  Two days since my scrap addicted friend left with a big shopping bag full.  I can't tell a difference in the piles of my cutting table, but I'm still having fun.  I've even found a couple of intact fat quarters.

I’m late but still linking to Kathy’s Slow Sunday Stitching linky party.

That is the way those scraps grow....they fluff up when you sort them. Having computer connection problems, and hope to get things resolved soon.

working with scraps and then to have someone give you 16 pounds! wow that is a lot more distraction then I would want, I don't even have my own scraps all cut and sorted

The scrap bag sounds like lots of fun! Enjoy the scraps and the hexies!
