Bound, Labeled, Done!

The quilt I have named “Just Do It” because I procrastinated so long over attempting the pattern is a finish!

One of the few television programs Bob and I both enjoy is “So You Think You Can Dance.”  The nice thing about that program is there is enough dialog between performances that I can easily watch it while doing handwork.  So, I finally finished this little throw.  It works well with the colors in our family room, and I think I’ll leave it on the sofa for a while.

Other activities this week include cutting and kitting up the components for this month’s installment of Civil War Chronicles…more directional prints to deal with.  It’s a good thing this is a five-Wednesday month.  That gives me an extra week before the July club meeting.

Wow!! Mary, that's a wonderful quilt. And here I was, complaining about having to make a bazillion (or was it a bajillion?) flying geese. The colors are great, the blue really makes it sparkle! I love SYTYCD also, and it affirms that I cannot!

I love the quilt. I have admired that one for quite awhile and am making a few HSTs along so I can do it one day. Yours is just gorgeous!

Love this quilt! Tried to leave you an email re the comment on my homespun quilt but comcast is being cranky (again). You are SO much better off foundation piecing. The directions in the book waste way too much fabric to suit me -- I'm a fabric grinch and don't want to waste any little snippet. I digress. It's a great quilt -- it's not a great process unless you have WOF strips for the entire construction. I didn't!

Take care, Jan
