I feel like I’ve been moving in slow motion this week, but at last I have a little progress to share.  Here is Jane Stickle triangle, BR 13, Argyle.  This one required my undivided attention and I had to keep putting it down and coming back to it.  Doreen’s tip to cut the outside edges of the units slightly larger than required so there was “wiggle room” to trim it up was a life saver.  Here is a link to her tutorial.

Country Hearts is also complete.  The pattern showed it embellished with a button in the center of every star, and I felt like it needed this touch.  I hate sewing buttons!  This little gem has 16 of them.  I am ever so happy it is bound, labeled and done!

I just love Aunt Reen's tutorial for DJ. She makes it so much easier than the way I had been doing it (the best I could, haha.) Your blocks are all looking beautiful

Nice job on your DJ block! I like the batiks you're using. Also the buttons do add a lot to your sweet country hearts. Finishes are good for the soul, right?
