For the last two years, I’ve supported one of our Guild’s community service projects by stitching up 100 anti-ouch pouches that benefit breast cancer patients.  I completed my first batch of five yesterday and that makes me feel like 2017 really has begun.

A cold front arrived in the afternoon and staying in today really appeals to me.  I know our weather is balmy compared to what is going on elsewhere, so I’m not complaining.  (I can just imagine my Wisconsin relatives rolling their eyes at what a cold weather wimp I am.)  My goal today is to sandwich and begin quilting a wall hanging, and I hope I’m able to make some progress on it.

I've already made way too many temperature comments about what's goin' on in the (Rio Grande) Valley and my southern MN relatives/friends have let me know that I've said quite enough!!!! BUT.....the winds ARE howling and it IS COLD here in Harlingen (at least there's no snow!!!!)..............
