Jane Stickle Block Progress

It’s time to make my monthly progress report on Jane Stickle blocks.  I can only count six finishes this month.  Several of them have inset seams so it takes me more time to make them.

There should have been seven…but alas, this is what I discovered when I went to press this block for the last time.  (It was rather late.)

Nice blocks. You're moving right along. I can't figure out how the mistake in the last one occurred. I say, "go with it." You're the only one that will ever know unless you tell everyone ;)

Beautiful blocks Mary!
Sorry to see you had problems with Fred's Square Fair.

I have a few oopsy blocks.
I'm going to sew them into a patch on the back of my quilt. Too much work goes into them to toss them aside. ;)

Wonderful blocks! What disappointment you must have felt with the oopsie, but it is rather funny too. I mean how on earth did you do that? I like the idea of keeping them for the back that Ida suggests.

Well I have to agree that the oopsie has its charm and all the Jane blocks are lovely.

I love your blocks because of all the variety you used...even the oops! Your perseverance with this project is awesome.

Hi Mary! Thanks for stopping by my blog. These are beautiful blocks. I agree with a couple of the other posts, put the oops on the back of the quilt! I'll be back!

Blessings.

Congratulations on finishing all those blocks in a month! That's a LOT of sewing!

I can't figure out how the oopsie happened but LOVE the idea of using oopsie blocks on the back!!!

Looks like it's just missing that last triangle... i wonder if it could be fixed just removing that one seam... i vote for fixing it - but only once it's become funny to you. i have a pile of these and i'm only about 40 blocks in.

Love your Jane blocks! Very fine work on them. I'm working on a modern colorway rainbow version of this quilt. Don't you love it? I fell way behind my "schedule" with the blocks when some of my supplies for it got misplaced with our move a few months ago. I've found everything this last week, and that is what I'm working on at a retreat I'm going to in a few days. Going to see just how many Jane Babies I can put together in 3 days!
