At some point in time, I will need to make a decision about
what sashing I want to use for my Jane Stickle quilt. I found a small cut of black fabric in my
stash and pinned some blocks to it to see how it looks. I think this may be the direction I go.

I think you are on to something here! The black gives an elegant feel to each block. I love how some the eye moves around the lighter to darker blocks. And any color looks good with black.
The black really compliments all the beautiful colors in your blocks! Also, each block stands out on it's own too!
