Ready, Set, Go!...for Slow Stitching on Super Bowl Sunday

I have my squares for hexagons ready for basting and the binding ready for hand stitching on my ugly fabric challenge quilt.  The lovely scrap of cup cake fabric is all that came home with me from that particular fabric.  I've decided to use it as a label on the back.

I should be ready with plenty of handwork for tonight’s Super Bowl.  Hubby watches the game, I watch the commercials.  It’s one of those rare television events that offers  something for both of us.  Oh, yeah…which teams playing again?

I'm linking to Kathy's  Slow Sunday Stitching.

Hexagons are great work to have in front of the TV. Nice colours on your fabrics.

No football here but hoping for some stitching time later. We are cleaning out our home office so it can be made into a sewing studio for me! Great progress is being made, but lots more to do... Looks like you're all prepared and ready to stitch!

Glad the projects are all set for the game! I just finished eating some chili and cornbread for dinner. Now to get the kids to bed and then.... football or a movie? Either way I will be hand quilting =)

You and I are alike ... DH watches the game and I watch the commercials. I would have rather stayed home and done a little slow stitching, but I did enjoy our visit with our neighbors.

lol I hope you enjoyed the commercials and your stitching. I watched the game and was just beginning to get the hang of it when it finished! I'm from Australia and our football is very different!
