Last week traveled to South Texas where Bob’s two brothers
from Wisconsin spend the winter. We were
joined by a Dallas area brother for a mini family reunion that included four of the six siblings. It was lots of fun and it feels ever so good to be
home!
I knew sewing would be limited to what handwork I could
squeeze in while riding (usually with a dog in my lap) or in the evenings while the guys played pinochle. So, all I have to show is two
rosettes. I’ll be working on some more
this afternoon while Bob watches basketball.

It's wonderful that you could all have the reunion. The rosette's are very pretty.
grew up in Wisconsin! lots of people try to get away for at least part of the winter if they are retired and can do it
2 more finished... way to go!
Enjoy your hexies today!
Nice rosettes! I make a few, then put them away. I always love seeing what others are doing, so maybe you will inspire me! I can relate to the "guys playing pinochle" business - my husband's family loves it!
Lovely rosettes. Nice colors.
Nice job! Always good to have some handwork along when you have the moments to spare.
So pretty! Isn't it interesting how reversing the colors changes the whole look of the piece? Lovely!
