Slow Sunday Stitching

As soon as I started adding neutral hexagons to my diamonds, I knew I wanted more diversity.

So, I dove into my French General stash and started cutting more.  I will spend my Slow Sunday Stitching time today basting them.  Hubby follows the Packers and this will be a good project to work on while I join him for that.  He’s on his own for the other game!

Also, my die cutter and I really bonded this weekend.  Here are strips from the scraps I was gifted, ready to be sub-cut into 1 and 1½ inch squares for bowtie blocks.

Today is a good day to stay inside.  We have a wind advisory in effect with gusts of 45 mph possible.  These winds also resulted in a fire weather warning.  We are expected to have a high of 65 today, but it certainly won’t feel like it.

I’m linking to Kathy’s Slow Sunday Stitching linky party.

I am almost devoid of neutrals right now. Think I need to pick some up? The hexies look good. We are in for storms today too with winds moving in later this afternoon. We need the rain so I won't complain.

The one thing on my shopping list is neutrals. I seem to have used them up in the last year or so. Looking forward to see more of your hexies. I'm not in Texas, but it's raining here too in SoCal.
