Mix Master Brights is finally a flimsy. I had to hang it side ways to get it on my design wall, and because my arms couldn’t reach over a table to straighten it on the right side, it looks wonky where it isn’t. It measures 78 X 56 inches. The colors in the photograph don't do justice to the outer border, which is much brighter than it appears. As soon as the back is pieced and my order of thread arrives, it will be ready for quilting.
Someday maybe I’ll purchase a specialized quilting software. In the interim, I sometimes use a spreadsheet application to help me figure border and sashing calculations.

That's a really colorful quilt!
I know you said the picture doesn't do the colors justice but I think it is wonderfu.
I love how you sashed and bordered the blocks. I might have to use your idea for my Layer Cake Quilt Along blocks...they are not looking good with the sashing I bought but if I but an extra darker border around each block like you did with your light one, that might fix the problem. Thanks for the inspiration!
Very pretty and I am a big fan of the colors with the traditional blocks. I think this is a great setting, too.
I really like your Mix Master Brights. I didn't know there was software for sashing and borders. That is one of the hardest parts for me.
What a beautiful quilt! The colors look good in your photo.
The colors in this quilt are fabulous. I like the sashing around each block. I'm going to have to do that.
So pretty and cheerful. I love it!
Great flimsy - and Great Name.
